Participação política na Universidade
ação de docentes de um curso de enfermagem
Abstract
This is a qualitative research of phenomenological inspiration, based on Hannah Arendt's ideas, with the purpose of understanding the action of nurse-teachers as political agents at the University and in spaces of political participation. The "web of human relationships" established by nurse-teachers at the University and in other spaces occurs when they demonstrate their uniqueness, natality, freedom, equality, and citizenship. However, participants reported difficulties in distinguishing and singularizing themselves through action and discourse in public spaces at the University and externally. The absence of faculty members in discussions at meetings, affect tasks related to teaching, teaching and health. The participation of nurse-teachers in public spaces is considered essential for the formation of nurses who are critical and reflective about reality. In this way, we suggest the development of research that focuses on the action of nurse-teachers, in order to propose strategies that allow them to act more intensely as political agents.
