According to the Brazilian Organ Transplant Association, it is estimated that 3,091 Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplants are performed in Brazil per year. Due to the complexity of the procedure, during and after this process, transplant recipients need qualified follow-up, carried out by nurses, who are trained with scientific and specialized knowledge, to perform care with methods, enabling recovery. However, despite the role of this professional in the care and care of patients and their families, it was identified that there is a low dissemination of national studies that explore the theme, particularly in the area of nursing. In view of this, we sought to understand what knowledge is being produced in Brazil about HSCT and what knowledge is being applied to transplant patients. A bibliometric review was carried out between July and August 2020, which culminated in a sample of 34 articles, selected in order to analyze the scientific production on the guidelines applied to transplant patients in Brazil. Despite the reduced number of works found in the researched databases, especially in the north, central-west and northeast regions, it was possible to reach a state of the art of the knowledge produced.
