A formação Bioética dos especialistas em Nefrologia: uma reflexão necessária.
Abstract
Reflection on the training of specialists in nephrology is essential. In this sense, talking about training with a focus on Bioethics is essential, since professional practices have undergone constant changes and need to be linked to current needs, which guide humanization and multidisciplinary work. It is necessary to review paradigms and insert Bioethics as a transversal theme throughout the undergraduate and graduate curricula. This aims to stimulate the training process through the construction of dialogic, reflective and critical skills, building a new professional based on meaningful learning, supported by empathy and social commitment. In addition, this professional should be able to consider the full autonomy of patients, who, being advised, are beings capable of agreeing on a care plan appropriate to their lives. For changes in performance to take place in practice, it is essential to change training, with the central objective of seeking medical competence, always considering the inseparability between technique and ethics.
