With the advancement of technologies over the years, educators have expanded their perspectives on teaching resources in the classroom context. In view of this, the present work deals with the use of an animation as teaching material in the Natural Sciences subject of Elementary School I, revealing its relevance in promoting an integrated conception, which unites audiovisual resources and the requirements of educational proposals. In this sense, the objective of this educator's guide is to present the film Chicken Run: The Nugget Menace as an educational and recreational instrument, capable of fostering meaningful learning that involves students in understanding topics such as healthy eating, sustainability, natural habitats, interaction between living beings and their environments, in addition to the relevance of environmental conservation. Therefore, this guide aims to promote reflections based on the language of animation, enriching the process of scientific education and connecting content with students' everyday knowledge.
