This work aimed to describe the elaboration of a Comic book entitled “Flat Earth” in which the characters Aurora, Pollux and Ollie discuss the Flat Earth movement in 2021. The construction stages of the comic were described, as well as the creation of characters that were inspired by the book “Dialogue concerning the two chief world systems ptolomaic and Copernican” by Galileo Galilei. In the development of the plot, the scientist Aurora, searches with scientific foundations, to dissuade Ollie her uncle, of his beliefs in the Flat Earth movement. In this context, we believe that the discussions present in this HQ can contribute not only to the inclusion of Astronomy content in science classes, but also to the understanding negationist and anti-science movements. Since these issues need to be discussed and the Science teaching area needs to be contributing with proposals that allow critical teaching, even when faced with conceptions that devalue scientific knowledge.
