Autism Spectrum Disorder considered as a controversial condition, because, on the one hand, the biomedical model maintains a pathological approach, configuring the person as sick/disabled. On the other hand, generating resistance, there is an inclusive conception, which understands such disorder as a social characteristic and expression of human diversity. Thus, the aim of this study is to perform a cartographic analysis that evidences heterogeneous and collective networks of mediators that produce the autistic. With the theoretical-methodological contribution of the Actor-Network Theory, we identified various printed and digital materials - academic media or not, legislation, public policies and different actors of the educational scenario - articulated with the controversies that produce the autistic person. It is concluded that autism spectrum disorder can be characterized as a still unstable network, since multiple mediators argue for the potentialities and inclusion of these people, but encounter important resistances in this sense.
